The Christian’s Journey to Praise (fbcfenton)

David gives an autobiographical description of his own life experience in these three verses. In Psalm 40:1-3, David shows how he goes from prayerful committal of his life burdens, to waiting on the Lord, to seeing God work in grace and sovereign power, and finally his heart is full of joy as he praises God for His goodness. I have, thusly, entitled this message, “The Christian’s Journey to Praise.”
